Export PDFs to Google Drive

Our reports generally need to be exported as PDFs for our end user needs and it would be easy if we could export those PDFs to Google Drive as our organization uses Google Workspace. Currently it looks like we can only export to Google Sheets.

  • What is the use case?

We need to export a large number of PDFs on a monthly basis for end users. We are currently working towards emailing them to a shared inbox and parsing through that inbox to get the PDFs. It would be greatly simplified if we could just use Google Drive for this purpose.

  • How often would this feature be used?

Many hundreds of times a month.

  • What is the impact of this feature on your organization?

This would make it easier to manage PDF exports when we need to store them in our system for historical storage and to make them available to end users for easier access.
