FAQ: How to add totals to a non-pivot table

Here’s another question we often receive:
Is there a way I can show column totals at the bottom of a table?

You can add totals (and other aggregates) to a table by using the Summary section of your table:

Then using the + button and selecting the column you are interested in:

Sigma will automatically pick an aggregate based on the column type, but you can go in and change it to whatever fits your needs:

You can also use the “New Summary” option if you instead want to write in a custom aggregate formula into the formula bar
