How to reference a single individual value in a table

Occasionally in Sigma, it’s useful to be able to reference a single individual value.

For example, let’s say I want to be able to reference the Sum of Revenue value for California here:

I can reference this value by creating a Summary field on this table with a conditional statement that will only retrieve me values for that particular cell, like so:
